Toyota Tsusho AZAPA has completed the development of battery swapping conversion EVs and supporting equipment based on existing gasoline vehicles, implemented decarbonization logistics model demonstration, and updated society through integrated electricity

AZAPA Corporation (hereinafter referred to as "AZAPA") has been commissioned by Toyota Tsusho Corporation (hereinafter referred to as "Toyota Tsusho") and the Ministry of the Environment to complete the combination demonstration of "development of battery exchange EVs and utilization of renewable energy". The verification of environmentally friendly logistics models for regional contributions has been carried out, and the development and implementation of battery exchange EVs, exchange stations, and accompanying systems have been completed and verified. This project aims to accelerate the decarbonization of the logistics industry and contribute to achieving a sustainable society.
